Default Rail journey in London

Ok people, i have to get from Luton airport, to Excel for the motorshow.

I'm ment to "
Take the free Luton Airport shuttle bus to Luton Airport Parkway station to catch a train to Kings Cross St.Pancras (around 35 minutes). At King's Cross change onto the northern line (southbound) to Bank. From here, change for the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) to Custom House for ExCeL."

So what card can i get to do that and how much will it cost?

Yer, it would be a return.

What's the one day travel card? Would that cover the 3 journeys?

Yes, chances are it will be the same price anyway and at least you can talk to a person.

If you use the off peak travel card, you must travel off peak both ways.

Luton's shuttle bus is a quid now I believe. You can extend an all zones travel card to get you to Luton for a couple of pounds but I've only ever done that when leaving the city, dunno if it's possible in reverse and you might have to be on a stopping train to use this method.

The fast trains are East Midlands Trains to St Pancras and this might be cheaper bought in advance but you have to use the train specified on your ticket/reservation or buy a new ticket - v strict on this these days. I find National Express > Home > Train tickets for travel to London, York, Leeds, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow to be the best site to find the cheap tickets for any operator. You can add on a zones 1-4 travel card to your order but that won't be discounted.
