Home entertainment (organization) help needed
Looking for suggestions on how to organize this little lot from the guru's
I have small flat so there isn't much room and I can't wall mount anything.
As you can see the window is in just the wrong place, and the filing cabinet is moving to roughly where the photo was taken from.
In the rack is, Xbox, PVR, DVD player and soon to be an AV amp. I also have 2 small speakers to add to it as well (same size a hifi speakers about 1 foot tall).
The VCR and all the stuff under the stand will be moving to the loft.

You'd be better of spending £400 on a bigger TV. That little bugger would really pi55 me off.
Like when I have to watch the F1 in our nippers room - 42 to 14 is so not fair

I don't like big TV's. That one does me fine until I buy my own place (its rented hence can't wall mount) and can wall mount. If their freestanding even a 32 inch looks huge.

OK dumb *** question time.
I know some av amps have hdmi imputs now. I take it these split the audio off and pipe them out to the speakers leaving the tv to come out via the other hdmi output (having tv amp turned off)
Any one know of any good shops in bedfordshire where its possible to listen to set ups?
one of the guys at work mentioned the Onkyo 505 or 606 depending on budget. (the 2 mentioned are between 250 and 400)
