Wouldnt wish her untimely end, but maybe an untimely retirement, I cant see why she get so much press, she has only had a couple of records and one of them was a cover, and she looks like Peggy Bundy off Married with Children.

Her/Mark Ronson's album 'Back to Black' is good pop music IMO. Interesting from a production point of view and mixing modern lyrics with a lush 60's soul sound is fairly novel.

Her current life and performances are like looking at the results of a nasty accident, you don't want to look but feel strangely drawn.

I just think it sounds like Northern Soul with some rough edges taken off, its alright but she needs to make some new ones. Duffy is capitalising on her rivals frailties and lack of productivity by doing the same kind of thing, better.

Oh I don't think there's any more mileage in 'crackhouse', she had one moment in which she produced something that will last.

Other than that she's finished and as for 'duffy' she looks better for sure but like old crater face amy all she's doing is cranking out regurgitated crapola.

I think she owes a lot to the talents of Mr Ronson. I've not actually seen him or read any comments on her problem(s) though. It'd be interesting to see if he wants her to sort herself out, as Simon Amstell does, or if he'll not do anything as he's bound to be making money out of her sales.

The BBC will promote any old Crap, Jo Whiley puts stuff on and makes out its been around for ever so they can use the artists for their gigs, they relentlessley promote them, and every soundbite they ever use for a gig is some kid saying how awesome they were and it was the best gig every, even if it was crap, just once I would love to hear someone say on Radio one that Coldplay were were a fetid sack of rancid dog semen.

She'll be ok when you consider the miracle of modern medicine and you look back at the lives of various music industry coffin-dodgers like Ozzy Osbourne, Nikki Sixx, Steve Tyler, Joe Perry, Ronnie Wood, Keith Richards, etc etc.

Nikki Sixx is of particular interest as he was proclaimed dead by paramedics after an overdose only to be revived by adrenaline injections to the heart...
