Done a quick google, Jenny Saunders name comes up a few times.
The best bit is that Catherine Tate is leaving

I found this from Nov 2007 so I'm not sure how relevant it is now.

New Doctor Who?

I'd be quite happy with him, he's a good actor.

I think it might be both, on a few websites it says Jenny Saunders for a one of, then James Nesbitt to be permanent doc.
Looks like we have to wait, if the papers dont spill the beans first. Anyway my 2 little ones enjoyed it, it made up for the lack of good episodes in the rest of this series.

Now just have to wait for Torchwood to be aired again, pity its only 6 episodes to the new series

If it's in the Sun comic (sorry, newspaper) it must be true!!

On the IMDB guide for next weeks episode, it only mentions Tennant as the Doctor. So it looks to me like he doesn't regenerate into another person just yet, and is staying on for the time being anyway.

Thought he's already commited to the next series in 2010, after the "rest" in 2009

God I hope the ginger cow is going, what a waste of space that woman is

Oh, don't you start, got enough with my missus getting all flustered every time he comes on screen. I did think it was a shame when Christopher Ecclescake gave up, mainly as I'd not really heard of DT, but now I think DT is a pretty good Dr. Who. I always compare them to John Pertwee and Tom Baker, and he does just fine.

And the new Cybermen are much better than those from my days, AND they brought back Davros. Wonder what it will be like once Russell T Davies is no longer writing the scripts

Got to say I've liked both recent Doctors, but I just think DT, plays a good part, helps he isn't too bad on the eye too

I was never a fan of Doctor Who years back (well as long back as I recall), I blame the other half for my watching it, now I can honestly say I look forward to it being on, and I like my Doctor, I don't want him to go... I'm off stamping my feet now.

When it all started with the newly modern serie, with that blonde fella, I wasn't at all bothered about it at all. In fact I thought it'd be as bad as those one's I rememebered as a kid. The latest guy who does it, makes a good job of it. I'll admit, I've been pleasently surprised. I reckon it'll be a hard job to follow for whoever takes on the role...

Default Sort it out BBC.

Some digging reveals the BBC are about to open negotiations with DT. Offer of £1.3 million.

Now Jonathon Ross gets a reported £18 million to boost his already inflated ego talking all over mostly B rated celebs and the occasional A list celebs.

DT has saved Saturday nights for them and is the star of a show the entire family can watch. Last night the viewers in my house ranged from 5 to 73 and there wasn't a word spoken for the entire show.

SORT IT OUT BBC.

so the regeneration goes wrong , something to do with his hand in the jar , but end up with 2 doctors , the original one in brown suit and another in blue suit ( regenerated from the hand )
the blue suited doctor is apparently human
donna dies and i think the doctor goes back and saves her ?

Possibly the closest conclusion i can think of, and as you say dt is signed up until 2010 besides he looks like he's still having fun with it, it would be too early for him to go.

Either robert carlyle or james nesbitt are rumoured to be the next.
