Milton Keynes Traffic
I need to drop someone off at MK Central Railway station to catch a train leaving about 7:45am on Friday. I've never been to Milton Keynes at anything approaching a busy time of day. Coming from the Bedford direction it normally takes me about 10-15 minutes to get to the station from the M1. Could anyone let me know what the traffic is like at this time of day so I know how early to leave home. FWIW I'm tending towards giving the A421 a miss and coming in via the A422, this way has always seemed to be quicker when there's not much traffic.
Thanks in advance

Thanks for the advice, looks like they're going to be getting there in plenty of time for the train, unfortunately going through or round Bedford is pretty much unavoidable without a really significant diversion

There will be heavy congestion at Jct 14 and A422/A509. I would suggest coming in via Jct 13/A421. Once in MK, traffic will be fairly free flowing around 7:30am.
From Jct 13, I would take this route as it avoids roadworks near Jct14.
