Because Les I spend a frigging fortune taxing, insuring and ensuring my cars are road legal. I maybe wrong here, but I thought any vehicle that was travelling on the roads for any distance had to be correctly insured and registered.
If so and I have to do it why shouldn't anyone else. SN would be the first to complain if it was a chav or, God forbid, an immigrant in a beat up Saxo with no reg plate/tax/insurance.

£89 insurance fully comp, any driver
Free tax
No MOT required
63p a litre for red diesel. (Was 36p this time last year.)
Everyone should get one
(Pity the 3 litre only puts out 49hp )
