Cheshire Oaks Designer Village
Has anyone been to this place?
Is it any good?
Im going on holiday soon, and need some new clothes and other holiday stuff.
In an attempt to minimise the missus' spending, i thought this place might be worth a look!
If not ill just do the usual manchester trip cos i hate the trafford centre, its crap for clothes!
Got to make a choice tonight as im forced out of bed at 9 tomorrow to pick up tickets and then get dragged round shopping all day!
Any thoughts people?

Hey,
I live pretty close to here and I reckon it's great.
Plenty of different clothes shops that's for sure, from suits to rugby shirts and formal wear etc etc.
Loads of places to eat and some good posh coffee shops.
I'd recommend it!

not been for years but last time I went was full of scallies. Its a bit too compact for my liking as in lots of barging about. Some decent shops though but not the cheapest (unless its end of line stuff in silly sizes)

It's worth a look. Sometimes you can go and get loads of bargains, sometimes there's nowt there.
Primark is a winner for me tho, you could get your whole holiday outfits for about £20.00 and if it falls aprt after wearing it once, who cares for the price.

Depending on where you are,Bicester shopping village, just off the M40 is quite good. These sort of places are always a bit hit and miss.Would definitely second Primark for holiday bits though-quality is good too

I'm not far for Cheshire Oaks and maybe go there once a month if that. It's k as shopping centres go but have been to better. The Trafford Centre is another good one in the north west area thats worth going too.

I checked it out about a year ago and it was diabolical. Nothing cheap that isnt out of season or seconds... The place was awash with the great unwashed, fat birds with tramp stamps spitting as they spoke, scum everywhere... It's good for people watching and helping you remember you have done well in life and so can afford to go to proper shops instead
After that woeful escapade, I took Mrs Abdabz To Be to the Lowry Outlet Mall at Salford Quays - far nicer experience - plenty of savings to be had on half decent labels and less pondlife to negotiate

Just got my broadband working again!
Cheshire oaks was a massive anti climax!
Full of black nike wearing scum, with tracky bottoms tucked into simpsons socks! (whats with the cartoon socks, get some paul smith ones or something)
Clothes were good if your a midget or a giant, no 32/32 jeans anywhere
No size nine footware anywhere!
Ended up in manchester by 2 oclock, and bought loads of stuff, normal shops are much better and not much more expensive if you know where to look!
Must mention tk maxx though, ralph lauren titanium sunglasses down from 70 to 20, and versace jeans(current season) down from 220 to 50!
Also the MEGA FIT brunette in sole trader, she was the only reason i bought my flip flops from that shop, jesus christ she was fit! i bet the manager of that shop has a ball when its interview time(one question on interview: is she fit?)
Conclusion; Designer outlets are for chav scum, who want a 3 season old calvin klein t shirt for a fiver.
Normal shopping is the way to go!
TK Maxx isnt bad at all if you have time to search through the average stuff to find a real bargain!
