Default Dodgy Mail .....what would you do

G friend is sharing with a another female and keeps getting mail thro the box addressed to people she doesnt know ( containing credit card sized items ) . Now this other female is rarely at the address and rings up every so often to ask whether she has any mail ......

Should these be sent back to sender ,binned or saved up for her return, else ?

Hmm, I might be tempted to inform the police.

If they are credit cards coming through, WHEN it finally goes pete Tong, your Girlfriend will be questioned and the finger of suspision pointed at her.

They might just be junk from card companies though - I had one from Amex last week that looked like it contained a credit card, but was just junkmail with a blank credit card with 'your name here' written on it !

Most actual credit cards being sent out come in plain white letter size envelopes and you cant see any signs of it being a card unless you feel it inside.

Just cross out the Name and Adress on the front, with a black felt tip pen, on the front of the enovolope write addresse not known at this address, also on the front put the letters PTO,where the senders name and address is circle it and then pop it back into a postbox, if this is happening all the time keep a diary just in case of Police Investigation, If I can help anymore contact me Via PM, Yes I am a Postman!!!!!!!!!!!
Cheers

I've been binning mail for previous occupants at numerous addresses over the years and have never had any come back.

If they can't be bothered to leave a forwarding address, why shouldn't I put it in the bin?

It's not like a postal redirection for a year costs much, especially in the context of moving house...

there are some stranges rules and regulations.

We also just send it back to sender. One company sent us a letter though (to the occupier) and it said.

You recently returned a letter saying not known at this address. Due to the financial nature of the business we have to send the letter to the last known address, even if they no longer live there.

I thought it was weird but turns it it's true. Anyway I opened one and it turns out this guy has 15k worth of shares but they don't know where he lives ...

So make sure you sort out your redirection!!!
