Phone Stolen - International calls made
Some toerag nicked my mobile phone and has been making a bunch of International phone calls.
The numbers all start 00407 - anyone know what country that is ?
I have 10 numbers listed in full on my bill and will be passing the information to the establishment concerned.
Just want the phone back - got some great photos on it of family / friends etc.
For the coppers on here - Is there any point me contacting you guys with Name of hotel, name of Housekeeping Manager and name of room cleaner?
It is a crime after all - and might end up leading to a juicy bust / illegals etc.

Ok - It is Romania 0040 the 74,75 numbers following are mobile phones.
So - What would you do?
1. Forget about it.
2. Pass the numbers to the Hotel concerned
3. Pass the numbers to the Feds for them to follow up with Hotel

I'd get in touch with both the Police and the hotel concerned, especially if you know for sure that the phone was lifted from your room.

UPDATE
Contacted the hotel with the phone numbers.
They checked the numbers out and it the room cleaners' relatives back in Romania.
Faced her with this info - she cried, was sent home to get the phone.
Returned with the phone and it is being returned to us toute suite.
Result....

Glad you got it back, i never leave anything personal like my mobile or rings lying round in hotel rooms.
We once went to Turkey and left some change in the ashtray (english money) and the cleaner took it we told our rep about it and she said we had to make a complaint when we got back needless to say we heard nothing back!
