Face paint nightmare
Perhaps not a nightmare but...............
My 4 year old entered a fancy dress competition a few days ago and he wore a Hulk suit and wanted his hair Black as it is currently Blonde.
We had a face paint set bought a few months ago from a leading supermarket and I set about reading the rear of the box which clearly stated to wash off the paint with soap and water.
I then painted his face with the Green paint and applied a Black liquid paint to his hair.
Later that day I attempted to wash off the paint but it wasn't budging.
The wife has kindly informed me it looks like nail varnish.
Looking closely at the Black paint bottle it makes no mention of nail varnish and there is nothing on the box to suggest that it is for nails.
Luckily I didn't leave my 2 children to apply the paint to eachother as it could have been worse.
The box does say only to be used by children over 36 months.
It looks as though he is going to have to have alot of his hair cut off to remove the paint as it isn't budging at all.
What would be the best course of action as the supermarket is surely at fault?

And maybe some lessons in reading packaging correctly.

On the postive side at least it's the black hair paint that won't come off, not the green face paint
On a more serious side perhaps it could be worth trying nail varnish remover (acetone) on rag or similar to see if you can remove it. Would have to be careful as isn't nice stuff, and it's on your kiddy.
I got some paint called Rust Bullet on my hands last year it's silver and sticks like sh*t to a blanket. Acetone is what you use to remove it, well if you remember to buy some. I had silver hands for a week instead
I had some Acetone for round 2 of the painting
