Hindu only state-school opens...

Firstly I have nothing again Hindu's - they're generally polite and hard-working in my experience, but I fail to see how a 'seperate' school for Hindu's can be a good thing - and its paid for by the tax payer as well...
Surely this will open the flood-gates now, and muslims will be demanding state-funded islamic schools to be opened all over the shop?...
Clearly this isnt going to help them intergrate is it?

I imagine it'd be the same as Catholic Schools, they can't exclude non-Catholics if they have spaces available.
If they are oversubscribed however, they are allowed to admit the Catholic kids first, before non Catholics are admitted.

Why would you want to send your children to a Hindu school in the first place? 
If I had children I'd want a choice of where they went, so the more choice the better.... and if that means more schools for Hindu, Muslim, CoE, Catholic or whatever I can't see a problem!
It has to be better than sending them all to a "melting pot" school that causes divides and conflicts between some races or religions....

FWIW I think special schools are an excellent idea and swap over some pupils with an English school for a couple of weeks at a time. The home grown kids might appreciate what learning is about and learn some manners!! dl

the thing is they kick off mary hell if they cannot do something or scream rights for this that and the other, call us white there fine we call them whatever not allowed
pisses me right off, as i say bet your *** we cant go to the school, but if one of our schools stopped hindu's form going to it we are racist, they would go to hell and back to prove us wrong
****ing pakis sorry but gets right up my goat,
you come into our country you acdept our rules and respect our ways, we should not have to change to accomodate you. ofcourse i respect peoples beliefs and if a bloke chooses to walk round in a white gown dress thing then no prob
but kick off at us as to change our ways, stop us from doing or time old traditions then i get pissed.
oh well just my opinions, and i know my opinion isnt worth ****e but i have my views
if only they just shut up moaning and became part of the community and done something for england rather than creating there own little ****ing hindu land in whatever area the council assigned to put them all. kicking off all the time, we build a lovely new hospital but because we have a church there and not a temple they kick off again.
same ****ing **** different day, ill sit and have a convo with anyone, ill openly express my views, im entitled to, i have many friends from all over the world, but these friends are part of the community do things like you and me, respect our country its ways and realise how fortunate they are to be here even if the fookin prime minister screws us left right centre.

Faith schools tend to be more focussed and produce good results
No one moans about Catholic , C of E of schools or Jewish schools.
I went to a faith school and ended up an athiest lol. Did me no harm - I think???

Pretty hard to get a helmet over a turban. Nothing stopping anyone becoming a sikh and benefitting from their 'perks' lol.

Apples, i agree with you on most your points and don't care if other people don't agree. Try living where i live. Imagine how it would go down if we moved to Pakistan / Bangladesh / India and damanded this that and the other and made no effort to live the way of live of these countries, don't think it would go down well..... Most likely get drove back to where we came from and i'm sure they would have no problem telling us, without their fellow countrymen branding them Racist
However, Hindus & Sikhs i've always found to be hard working and not the ones that cause the trouble...... this is mostly your Muslims - (not all of them tho)

Have you ever heard of the British Empire?Back on topic - funding ethnic minority schools is a bad idea in my view, even if it is for one of the successful groups. Multi-culturalism (multi-culti) has been proven to be a total failure as it encourages arrivals to retain customs that simply are not compatible with the indigenous culture. That said, different tasty cuisines are almost always welcome.
