Brilliant application. One of my employees went to NYC last week and I wanted to show him where our company's office is on Manhattan. Turns out that when you put in an address on maps.google.com and click on " Street View" you can navigate forwards/backwards to 'walk' along the streets and swivel left/right using the arrow keys.


I've been to the UBS office at 299 Park a few times in the past and even the logo is easy to see.

I've been planning our forthcoming trip to the States using Google Earth street view and 3D view, it's awesome, every time I use it it blows my mind I feel like I know the area really well now but it will be strange seeing it all for real

I stumbled across this yesterday. I'm off to Mahattan the week after next so I got to have a look at the street where my hotel is.
Fantastic bit of technology.
Really looking forward to my holiday now

in reality though its just a pic you click on when you zoom in on the map, still cleaver i spose but not what i was hoping for, cant exactly walk around like said, but i appreciate how long it takes to make something like that
