It'll be interesting to see what accent Colm will use as I don't think I've heard him use anything other than his natural irish accent, and Gene most certainly isn't from Ireland. Hmm, seems they are going with an irish theme as Jason O'Mara is cast as Sam.

Its not going to work for them is it, they're too PC for a start. it'll go down just as well as the US version of the Office.

The US version of the office is massive and coming back for another series (that's more than the uk)
Con Air he did American passibly so don't think it would be a problem. I don't think it will be a success here if they show it, a key part of the formula is the nostalgia and the references many people have and recognise. My only reference to 70's america is Starsky and Hutch and The Bionic Man
