Stupid birds, (feathered ones).
This morning I looked up as the THIRD garden bird in four days hit my dining room window.
This one was a greenfinch and it eventually came round and flew off. apparently none the worse for it's little adventure.
I pick them up and put them safe, (in the long grass where cats won't see 'em), if they are OK. All three have survived so far, two sheps and this morning's little visitor.
I could understand it if they were flying into the living room window as it goes straight through, but the dining room only has the one window

LOL at Andys picture. I just shot one from my office window with the air gun. The bugger has been sh!tting on all the cars for ages so I got it then got a massive stick and turned its nest upside down only to see a baby pidgeon fall out. Awww so I shot it point blank in the head (could hardly look after it now could I?)

Yup, I dont shoot them for fun, its only a pidgeon so I dont mind, wouldnt shoot much else.
P.s. if you fancy coming round 5 days a week about 5pm and washing the cars before eveyone leaves then super, no more dead birdies round here

Perhaps I shouldnt mention the injured one I found, I was taking it back to put it somewhere and decided to just wring its neck rather than leave it to die in the shed in a cardboard box. God those things can flap, even without a head.
