I go through this every week too, somebody at work said it was "so 80's taking your lunch to work" but i reckon it saves about £15 a week.
Try something like corn or flour wraps like u would have with fajitas. Soup in a flask ifs its **** weather. But yeah, its a hard one unless u buy a portable camping stove

Reminds me of this old joke..

There was a Scotsman an Englishman and an Irishman all sitting on a tea break on a building site, the Englishman pipe's 'up if my wife put's Cheese on my sandwich's again I am going to kill myself' the Scotsman says 'if my wife puts Egg on my sandwich's again I will kill myself too'
The Irishman says 'if I find Gammon on my sandwich's again I will kill myself'

So sure enough the next day all three open up there lunch boxes and find the sandwich's are all full of Cheese ,Egg and Gammon once again so they all go off to different part's of the site and kill themselves, later in the week all three men are being buried and the Englishman's wife says 'if he didn't want cheese on his sandwich's he should have told me and this wouldn't have happened' the Scotsman's wife comes away with the same statement concerning the Egg sandwich's then the Irishman's wife pipe's up 'I can't understand this, Paddy always made his own sandwiches'.

Mr. Impreza, one of my work colleagues brings tuna salad every day for lunch! I get bored of just looking at his food! But he is physically very fit. He's into healthy foods, so eating tuna salad every day for lunch doesn't become monotonous to him. He says that he does vary his dinners.

I must say I like variety. I change my lunches. Sometimes houmous in grilled wholemeal pitta bread with some salad, sometimes couscous made in different ways, sometimes chopped bacon in salad, roast chicken wings, prawn or salmon salad etc.- finishing off with some fruit. I know some people who eat out at lunch all the time. They eat Subway butties, MaccyD burgers, chips, huge baps from some local bakery etc. Not healthy IMO.

Try taking some grilled meat with salad. Change the meat at times from chicken to beef, from beef to fish or pork sometimes.
Take fruit or yogurt to finish off your lunch

Vary the bread, wholemeal, tiger bread, white, brown, french stick, soda bread, pita bread, pannini, ect, ect. Try pasta salads, potato salads, ect, ect. check the deli counter in your local farmer oppression unit (supermarket) for different meats, cheeses, sausages, german salami, dutch salami, applewood cheddar, ect, ect.

I make the wifes and my own sandwiches ever day and try to do somthin different every day.

Im sure asda sell frozen wc rowe pasties.

I do have chicken pasta every day but seeing im in the gym quite a bit keeping the carbs up with a dash of protein is vital.

That and special k or frosties for brekkie, i do like museli though shame it has to be the £5 southern alps fig muesli, it is lush though.

I'll take all sorts. CBA to make sarnies.

Pasta, salads, pasties, scotch eggs, sushi - anything interesting.

I hate buying from the local sarnie shop as they are expensive and not really that nice. There prices seem to go up in line with petrol as they have an X5 to run.

Lidil up the road you can get a premade sandwich, a bottle of juice and a fruit box for £1.80. I know people take the **** for using Lidil or Aldi but some of the stuff isn't bad.

I have the same sandwiches every day, made for me by my fabulous husband. The secret's in the bread - Sainsbury's in store bakery Taste the Difference multiseed. It's fantastic bread, lovely and moist... Yummy!! Always have cheese, tomato and basil, though sometimes he puts in a little bit of mayonnaise

I used to take a packet of crisps everyday to work but then i was reading in a health/fitness magazine about them being one of the worst snacks to have on a daily basis. Yeah i know u could say that about many things but i replaced it with an Apple or Pear and feel better for it (in my head at least )
