Default So would you pillage the dead... underwater?

Suzy and I are commuting to work on the tube and, as passionate divers, the subject turns to finding bodies on the sea bed! But then it takes a macabre turn when i suggest the body we've just found has a rolex on the wrist

I think I'd get over my shock at finding a corpse 100ft down pretty quickly to get me a second hand roley

Would you?

100ft not that much - youd feel a right nobber when one of the party asks you where you got it,
never been into watches myself anyway .

A Rolex is bad enough but one that has bits of grey flesh hanging off it would be worse.

I'm not a watch expert, but would it be working still after being 100ft down.

BTW, I wouldn't.

Surely the first priority is to return it to a relative of the corpse.

Good gawd no! Creepy!

I know some Fisherman that do not believe that bodies (or possessions) should be recovered if lost at Sea, as a mark of respect i.e you do not try and retrieve what the Sea has claimed. Not sure I go along with that, but If someone is on the bottom that becomes a grave IMHO and should not be disturbed without good reason....and "but I really liked his watch" isn't a good reason!

Hmm! Depends on the state of the body. Any flesh left on it, I would report to authorities. If it was just skeletal then I would take the watch. Then I would spread the bones over a wide area to make discovery of the body harder.

That's what I'd be thinking Les. However others think a fast buck is more important than common decency.

Or course the models would have to be the Submariner or Sea Dweller.

I love the way people get wound up over a theoretical event.

I also love how gullible people are when reading something that someone has typed just to wind up the previously mentioned gullible people.

No wonder PSLewis has such fun on here
