Despite the best efforts of the BBC I have not seen any panic buying of petrol over the last few days until........
today I went to top up with my regular dose of Tescos finest just next to me was some silly old sod trying his hardest to get more fuel in his astra, I put in my £50 worth went to the till, then he paid his bill, Yes he had manged to put in £ 1.97, just so so sad.

I'm so glad I work from home most of the time now - only did 3500 miles last year. Saved me a fortune leaving the National Program for IT for the NHS.
Reckon I should get onto my insurance co and get reduced insurance rates.
My car is just over 3 yrs old and has 22K on the clock - Pay £800 a year fully comp with Priviledge (42yr old male IT consultant)

called to fill up on Thursday and there was an old dear in a rover 75 filling jerry cans in the boot of her car. Well over £150 when I went in to pay.
As for the bbc, sky, etc.. not telling people to panic buy, sheesh talk about waving a red rag. They might have well just said "buy petrol now, dont wait do it now!"
"Why are you still sat here reading this? You should be out buying petrol!"

Apparently the ar$e is about to fall out of the second hand Impreza market.
So - anyone with an 08 STi - I'll take it off your hands for £10k - You'll thank me in the long run.
PM with pictures - only mint examples considered.
ps must come with a full tank

Was watching something on the news yesterday - and I think it was 2/3's of the money from petrol goes to the TREASURY?? WTF>???
I think we members of Scoobynet should boycott and tell all of our friends and family to do the same - or else we'll carry on paying £1.15 per litre

Much better bet would be to scrap "Social Services" and put the money into non-scrounger based services
