Default Lumbar Degenerative Disc Disease

Anyone on here suffer from the above? My best mate has just been diagnosed with it so would like to hear from anyone else who has it.

That's a good link VB, my mrs has it and describes it well.

Was having various back, hip and leg probs for a while, had an MRI done and while waiting for the results, something popped and she hasn't worked since (last xmas).

MRI showed bulging and some dehydration.

Getting better but slow progress.

I have had a op on my back for a bulged disc. To say you wouldn't wish the pain on your worst enemy would be a understatement! A friend at work has the above though and walks with a limp all the time, but apparently there are some good ops nowadays to cure it? Think they can fuse the bones
