Shame, but I thought it would probably end this way when he vanished. It was that or he would do what Alan Partridge did and drive to Dundee in his bare feet surviving on only toblerone

Thats a real shame, very sad, not unexpected though after what happened to his girlfriend, I suppose it confirms how upset he was at her death, must have been awful to be a suspect along with losing someone.

As soon as the reports of him missing came out last week, it was the inevitable outcome really.
The tragedy of his fiancees death after a drink and drug fuelled 'party' together with the finger of blame being pointed at him, was obviously too much.
His family apparently reported him as being of 'unstable mind' and we did say earlier that if that was the case, you would have thought something could and should have been done to help him - but then I suppose if someone is that determined to end things, nothing would have stopped him

Him and his girlfriend were the victim of the high class drug culture. The state he found his GF in the bath when he woke up in the afternoon, that must have caused him a tremendous shock. I can imagine him feeling so guilty and low about his GF's death, as he was party to their drug-taking recreational activity; turning into a horrible tragedy. Moreover, the fashion they were taking the drugs that night indicates that it wasn't the first time they would have done something like that. Long term drugs intake causes severe depression, transforming a person into a suicidal escapist from a normal survivor. Other theories are being talked about the death of Natasha Collins, God knows what really went on. Whatever happened, it is tragic.

I think it important to Mention Mark's involvement with charity work, we was the patron of the Children's Muscular Dystrophy Society and had been involved with them for 8 years actively taking part in helping with the kids and getting them to express themselves through art, raising money and awareness for this cause. He took an interest and active part, not just a 'name' that turned up at the odd organised dinner.
I see drugs being mentioned and quite rightly so. however, no mention of the alcohol that also played a big part in this tragedy. I would bank on more people dying of alcohol related causes, more people being beaten up or injuring themselves due to drink on that fateful night that through taking coke or any recreational drug. Drugs and drug abuse is a bad thing, don't get me wrong - Alcohol abuse - just as bad and just as responsible in this case - IMHO.
RIP Mark.
You should be remembered for the good stuff you did as well - for much more that just this tragedy.

Paul, you are right there. The addictive drug called alcohol is widely used, and most abused psychoactive drug. Mixing it with sleeping pills and cocaine makes it more lethal for the metal and physical wellbeing of the ones who consume it in this fashion for pleasure. Perhaps to them, they were breaking boundaries of pleasure, letting it reach the ultimate ecstacy. But the ecstacy sent them into different dimention, sadly.
I have to say that a very impressive and creative children's entertainer consuming drugs and ultimately dying of it's direct or indirect impact is not very impressive. What kind of role model to children such artists are, if they are now renowned to take drugs for fun, and causing others and themselves death! I am sorry I couldn't help thinking so.

Apparently it was him that got her into the Cocaine scene, which is probably why he felt responsible for her death.
You've got to be a mug to take any illegal drug in my book.
I'm struggling to find much sympathy to be honest.

PMSL! Bet your baby laughs his head off at them , so they must solve the purpose to amuse, drugged or not
TBH, childrens TV is apparently quite bad ATM, someone said. Apparently, some babies have complained in writing to CBBC They need to sort it out.

"So abusing alcohol is perfectly acceptable? "
No, did I say it was?
As far as I know, she died of a Cocaine related heart attack, if she had been drinking as well, she's even more stupid.

Funny jokes notwithstanding, this is a terribly sad case and just highlights the dangers of drugs and alcohol. When kids see the likes of Doherty et al, they'd be forgiven for thinking that you can take drugs with impunity when the reality is that they can cost people, who in all other respects, seem decent enough a great deal very suddenly!
BTW Booze may not be demonised the way other drugs are, but make no mistake, in terms of expense to society it's still the big one. Also, IIRC it's the only drug from which withdrawal can actually kill you! Hence why alcoholics don't go "cold turkey".
