Default Timex Ironman Data Link USB watch, anyone got one? For swimming...

Im after a good watch that can record swimming lengths. Number of lengths swum, time each length took, average time, overall time etc, and came across the Timex ironman range of watches.

A few look like they will do the job, and have well placed Split/Lap buttons so you can press them easily at the end of every length, but one in particular looks good as you can download the workouts to your PC and do comparisons etc

Timex Ironman 200 Lap Data Link USB T53722

Very well priced for the features, water resistant, and has a lap/split timer which should count lengths swum and do individual times for each, and you then download it and can have a proper browse through the session.

Not sure if anyones got one of these and found it useful, or is it a pretty useless gadget to have?

Any other watches designed for swimmers anyone would recommend? (although like the look of this one, and all the other features it has)

As you get to the end of your lap, you turn and press the button quick.

I know it'll add about 1 second to the lap, and as I dont tumble at the end of every lap it is pretty simple to do.

It's more for pursuing my personal goals as opposed to training for competition or anything, so small interuptions to the length shouldnt really matter.

I have been looking at one of these though:

Welcome to www.activeplanet.co.uk - The European Home of SportCount

Only thing is it doesnt have downloadable workout data, but still looks ideal.
