Defeated Mugabe to quit
Apparently. Breaking news, but looks like he will go without a fight...
Lets wait and see, and if he does, await the reaction.

Indeed mate, only time will decide this one. Would not want to be there over the coming days.

Can't see that lasting long
The Army and Police are full of Zanu-PF supporters (not just people who join up in order to get food vouchers and the like). Add to that ranks of indoctrinated members of the Zanu-PF youth movement, and the likelihood is some pretty serious public disorder at the "removal" of Mugabe.
I hope he goes quickly and we move even quicker to normalise ties with Zimbabwe and give them the assistance they need to get the foreign investment the country desperately needs.
The sooner Zimbabwe can shrug off the disease that is the Zanu-PF the better... it's a shame we didn't help it along with the use of a sniper rifle.

Seems a lot of Africans don't want him to leave.
The british press seem to portray him as evil (rightly or wrongly) but I read comments by Africans on BBC news and they think he has been good for the country.

Sadly the same could be said for Saddam too.
They are delaying delaying delaying... with these results. As the news have said, if they knew they had won, he would have announced it a long time ago.

I think they're weighing up the options.
Now would be a very bad time for the opposition to do something illegal or against the interests of the state. Even if they didn't do it.
