PS, make sure when you get to the 'save as' screen, you save the file as xxxx.FLV , do not forget the .flv bit

Never tried on other sites, but do a quick Google, and others are available for other sites.
I saw a thread on here about 6 weeks back, where others were using different programs/sites to download from different places.

I'm with Tony
Apple Safari, open 'Activity' window, double click on the video component of the chosen webpage and it downloads it to your desktop. It will play in VLC, or use iSquint (or similar) to convert for TV, phone, iPod etc. There's also apps like Tubesock, but why bother when it's all so easy ?

I've been telling folk for years, but they never (read, don't want to) listen. I've lost count of the 'I used to be a MS geek but since going Mac I'd never go back' posts I've read, but I rarely see a 'I used to be a Mac guy but since discovering Windoze I love the crashes, awkwardness, virus's, restriction and downright shoddy OS'

There's a goody in Firefox too (downloadable) - think it's called download helper. Doesn't just do .flv though. it does everything
