Tattoo removal
Anyone had one removed by laser?
Is it painful?
Is it expensive?
I need to do a bit of research into it but thought I'd get the SN masses to give me their thoughts first.
Cheers.

I've only got one on the top of my arm that I want removing ( and will have it put elsewhere, in a different style).
I've got 2 others, one on each inner elbow (not the crease, but around the inside of my elbows) which I'll keep.
To be honest I'm not bothered about the pain or the price but I'm really wondering how effective the lasers are?
The one I want to removed is only black writing, so nothing complicated.

I had 2 on my hand that I did when I was 16. I have had about 5 sessions so far, the star has gone and the love heart has just about gone. Ruby arts in York did the first few sessions and the rest were done in Halifax. I pay 40 quid a time but they are only small and take about 2 mins to do. Pretty painless but I reckon anything big would be rather sore.
They fade over 2/3 months and then I go back for another sitting, they leave no scars or marks once healed.

The best removal solution is to be an individual and not have one in the first place ....... I sound like my Grandad - which is no bad thing as he worked in the Navy and had them up his arm, he regretted them all his life and died wishing they were not there
I suppose if you grow up without copying others then you reach an age where sense kicks in and you simply do not do it?
Just my opinion ....

It is simply 'cover-up' cream ...... I'm guessing as I don't actually know (I'm not a sheep who feels the need to copy others and get tattoos, you see?).

I know nothing about this, but a colleague had both arms full (only seen photos though) and had them removed when he got married. No marks or scarring that I can see, and it changed his life.

Pete, its one of those, you would not understand thing.
Do you drink alcohol, smoke, take recreational drugs (your medication does not count )
Everything done in life can really be called "copying" but we are talking about personal decisions here. One you took too, NOT to get a tattoo. But it does not make you "right" it makes you YOU!
So lets stop being wet and pathetic and trying to force opinions on others eh.

I'm old enough to have seen the effects of what Tattoos do to people, if me posting on here stops an impressionable young person from abusing their body in such a way, then my words will have been worth their effort ..... I make absolutely no apology for that.
We must remember that SN is read by children as well as those who should know better .... there's nothing big, nothing clever and nothing to be proud of in having a tattoo and that is my opinion - I voice it, because that's what I believe in.
Plenty of space on here for a difference of opinion, get used to it
Despite being tattooed I am sure you are all very decent people

Hmmm now what brush can we tar you with
Jay, I would have to agree. Its 50/50 on the whole matter. You do or you dont, so one way or another you conform to some sort of sheep like behaviour.

I can't believe I've actually agreed with PSL. I'm going to go and stick my head in the oven
In fact, next time I see the loony bint, I might tell her that if she really loves me she'll get it removed. Then I'll tell her I prefered her with it and to get another one done. That'll confuse her...

Was worth every letter. I feel like a real scoobynetter now.
Might even get a Tattoo of it
Sorry to whoever took offence to it. Guess its a little too close to the mark for some
