just bought a new dvd player
Well decided to bite the bullet and buy a new dvd player.
being that blue ray are still way to expensive (in my opinion) i decided to stick with an upscalling one.
after looking around i settled on this one, which as an added bonus comes as a HD disk player as well
anyone have one of these?
Amazon.co.uk: Toshiba HD-EP30 - HD DVD Player - With 1080P Full HD3 - Plus 2 Free HD DVD's: Electronics & Photo

Wish I'd bought one of them
I decided to buy an expensive Panasonic recording DVD with a hard drive and it winds me up constantly. Too complicated and I've never once used the hard drive.

hd dvd's seem to be available from around £5, so not far off dvd price, and most of the current tittles are available so wont be hurting for choice.
tbh dont think its worth paying £200 for blueray, yet anyway.
and i hadn't thought of it as £35 lol,
also, y the hell do they no longer supply the correct cables witht he damn things, i've order an hdmi cable cos i know it doesn't come with, but y not include them, grrrr
