Anyone know of any MTB's straight from the shop lighter than these (Including pedals)?

Hardtail
Thömus Veloshop: Tomcat Carbon SL Superlite

Full Susser...
Thömus Veloshop: Lightrider Carbon SL Superlite

I would be very impressed if you could!

I have a Scott G-zero pro strike which weighs in at 10.5 kgs
My other half has the Scott G-zero team RC which is 10 Kgs but that's with Vee brakes

But 9.1 kgs on a full susser ready to ride is nuts!

Well I'm impressed!

I remember picking a Scott G-zero up at the bike show and thought that was mental. Lovely to see workmanship like this.

Due to the price tag though I will stick to lightweight alloys for now lol

Remember when I bought the Scott's the guy in the shop said it took 24 working hours to hand make the carbon frame

And it is a thing of real beauty.....

Very tasty but I can't imagine it would take kindly to me getting things all wrong and lobbing it down Charity Lane or some other rock garden

ChrisB you have a good point.....

I used to have a Trek fuel 90 many years back which I bloody loved and used to ride it like a stole it Twas a nice bike and not to expensive...

My Scott on the other hand is such a thing of beauty and cost a fair penny more (close to £4000) that I'm really to scared to do any sketchy stuff with it

Silly but true!

My Ti framed MTB weighs in at 21lb, with all XTR kit, Ti Bars, lightweight seatpost, Ti framed saddle, and Pace rigid forks, NOT the Ti ones .........yet

The frame was made by/for Raleigh Special Products, some years ago now, and has been professionally upgraded to take discs.

My youngest lad's bike has a "Guess" Scandium frame, mostly LX and XT kit, alloy rigid forks, no real lightweight stuff except for an Amoeba carbon bar, and weighs 20.4 lbs.

The Ti framed bike IS a better ride though.
