Favourite place too eat on London
I am thinking to take Mrs Luan Pra bang to 'that London' tonight for a bit of dinner and perhaps a trip on that big wheel thingy. Where do people reccomend to eat that I won't have to have booked a month ago and won't insist on a tie on entry. I hate it when a Michelin starred place gives you a polyester tie to wear.

In that case, you're world is pretty much your oyster.
Somewhere different is here London_home
You may or may not bump into some well known 'personalities' if you go slightly later in the evening. Normally no need to book and no dress code either. Plus its within 10 minutes walk of the London Eye too.

Blimey after the last visit, I didnt think you would ever return hehe.
The sort of place your looking to eat is outta my league so I wont recommend anywhere, just hope this experience is a little more enjoyable Have fun.
Dont think the buffet chinese by the millenium wheel is a great idea though.
China Town has some superb places to eat though. Leicester Square over priced for the quality.
Piccadilly, Mayfair, etc are the places where the good stuff starts

Bodeans in Poland Street (just off Oxford St - Oxford Circus end) for some of the best ribs, chicken etc that you'll find in town.......and they have NFL, NBA or even Premiership footie on. Failing that, try Porters just off Covent Garden - great pies, and they've got a special deal on at the moment - 2 courses for £6!!!!!

Giraffe in Marylebone for funky, very casual.
If you like fish, there's a couple of "Livebait", dead handy for the eye

Went to JoeAllens in the end as that was the first place recomended. Overall not bad and the prices for London were OK but they did add £5.50 to the price of my wine, charge me £2.50 for the honour of Ice cream on my Brownie and I asked the waiter specifically just before ordering desserts for a candle in Mrs Luans Rhubarb crumble. Of course he said no problem and the candle never arrived. Seems they ae a bit to busy and to popular for thier own good.
Another problem was the complete lack of eye candy anywhere in the restaurant.

Langans which was owned by Michael Caine gets my vote, a relative took me there a few years back and it was fantastic. On the table next to us we had Paul Gascgoine, Chris Evans, Danny Baker, Jimmy Five Bellies and Will.

I'll second that. Had a nice meal there with all my family and everyone seemed to like it which is difficult with my family!

Spanish Restaurant London
The best food I have ever had from the above. Cheap too. £50 (for 2) gets you bloated with the best Spanish food you can buy and tipsy on wine/beer. The tapas is legendary there.
I used to live near this place and was a twice-weekly visitor usually.
Fantastic as long as you don't mind being on the wrong side of the river in a bit of a dodgy area.
