Its very nice indeed - was green with a Chameleon this morning, its purple with a bee this afternoon.

The BBC web team are very good, big team as well.

Oh, and has everyone noted you can drag and drop the "modules" around the page - lovely stuff.

Yup - All done in Ajax - like IGoogle and facebook. You can also configure the modules to show you what you want to see - For example, have the sport module show you headlines form Football, boxing and athletics and nothing else.

Like it very much! I already know HTML and CSS pretty well (still a lot to learn), but I wouldn't mind learning how to do this kinda stuff myself.

That does look better. I also think the iPlayer is great: Not the one you download but the online one.

Is the whole reason for that iplayer getting released so the scumbag BBC can charge a licence fee when you buy a new computer? or am I just being cynical??

It may be justification to raise the tax.... errr, I mean license fee, though, to cover the bandwidth being used!

This makes interesting reading Telco 2.0: BBC’s iPlayer nukes “all you can eat” ISP business model

Yayyyy! I can bin all that boring sport rubbish!

Read somewhere recently, can't remember where exactly, that some UK ISP's have seen bandwidth demand increase by 300% at peak times, due to iPlayer.

Oh and why does everything have to be iblahblahblah. God even cars get that now! Don't Apple get enough free advertising
