if you had the money would leave the uk?
as above was think about this today with the country becoming more & more nanny state than ever with stupid laws with the goverment not even listerning to what we want anymore just how they can get more money from us been the most important! where police have to make crime targets so just take the easy options as the all worth the same! smokers being victomised making pubs more intersting outside, been bum rapped on fuel bills both car and house!
With all the above set to get worse who would leave the country if they had the money?
i know i would

Funny you should post this, been thinking about all the people who are buggering off, i dont know of any close mates but i know of at least 4 people who are buggering off, one is going to Canada the other 3 Australia. It seems worrying all these people have had enough and are feeling the country.
My sister said to me the other day 'its getting a scum infested s**thole this country and we've looked at Oz for the future.
How many scoobynetters know someone who is emigrating? i bet its quite a lot.
Not considered it myself yet but i along with everyone else is fed up of working harder and harder for less reward whilst getting shafted by the beaurecratic d***heads that we elect in power who's only interest is to dictate to us how we run our own lives whilst feathering their own nests.
Now dont get me wrong it aint paradise over in Oz, Canada, New Zealand etc. but at least they have the right attitude towards immigration. Work and work hard and put into the system and we'll love to have you, think we're an easy ride? well bugger off you're getting nowt and your not welcome'.
Like i said its not the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow but a lot of these countries are offering a viable alternative to living in Blighty.
Shame really because despite the rain (well in Oldham anyway) the idiots in power i love this country and most of the people whio populate it.

If I had the money I would move to Australia, namely Sydney or Melbourne. Been out there twice now and love the place, really friendly people and weather to die for plus they love their modified cars

I would live in Australia from October to March to avoid the crap weather over here and then come back here for 6 months for the better UK weather so i can take my scooby out, just think no wet weather use and it wouldn`t be subjected to road salt then it would stay in my garage while i went back to Aus for 6 months.

I would, and was going to quite a few years ago
Went to immigration got all the forms etc etc, was heading off to Cananda, but its (or it was) a points based system back then to get in, and I had severe health problems so I lost out on quite a few points, and my cousin offered to sponsor me but I declined as I didnt want to put any kind of potential financial burden on her, so I ended up staying here
It would have been Niagra/Toronto but I ended up in Salford Quays instead (work not to live ) and it was the sh*t end of the quays too

I wouldn't know where to go.
Australia - worse on speeding than here and too many spiders/insects/snakes
Canada - 1/3rd of the year below freezing? No thanks
Europe - No speako da english
America - Won't let me in, full of Americans
When I can afford my own island that's big enough to build a Nurburgring-esque ring road, I'll be packing up and going

I'd Leave if a Country could offer me the following
Free Housing
Free Health care
Free Money
Free Food
Free Education
How long do I have to leave for, before I can come back here & claim what other people are from us tax payers in the UK
Love this Country, hate the system

Things always seem greener on the other side. Anyone who thinks "Nanny State" does not exist in Australia and New Zealand really has no idea. Creeping "socialism" is EVERYWHERE!! Having said that, anyone wishing to emigrate I suggest they do.
