How bad is the Brits this year....
Half the presenters are so battered they can hardly speak, and the acceptance speeches are a load of piffle......(Vic Reeves should be shot)

I can accept artists coming up to accept awards being a little pished but Vic Reeves was an embarassment. I hope his fee is withdrawn!
I doubt it would be acceptable to turn up to my job as pished as he was!

Did Radiohead head get nominated and subsequently win best Album for In Rainbows ? If the answer to either of these question is no, then it is final and conclusive proof that the Brits it a complete ****ing waste of time.

I caught a few of the acts, WineMerchant isn't my cup of tea, the Osbournes were crap and as for the awards themselves...and the winners...why bother? A waste of prime time TV if you ask me. I watched some stuff (Armstrong and Miller, Jongleurs Unleashed) that I recorded on Sky+ instead, Much more entertaining.

Absolutely dire! I'd never heard any of Mika's stuff before this and I obviously haven't missed a thing. He sounded like he was being castrated over a PA system!
Apparently Whingerhouse hadn't gone to any of the rehearsals and it showed - she was so out of time on the 'Valerie' cover (crap first time round too!)
Oh, and why did Sharon Osborne have to start swearing like a sewer rat later on - was it because no-one was paying attention to her?!?!?

Another Ice Road Truckers watcher here - followed by Grand Designs (£300,000 on groundworks!!)!

Even the cats ran out of the room at Mika's high pitched squeaks!
Personally, I thought Leona sounded like a sheep bleating on a hillside, but I'm not a fan of this kind of music (which begs the question why I was watching in the first place, I know!!)

Vic Reeves stopped being funny 10 years ago IMO, or I just got older, not sure. I quite liked Vic and Bob (and George!).
