You'd have thought he'd have spent more than a tenner on the inside though, maybe he ran out of money?

only ever been used for shows and display purposes. so not taxed or moted.
have all paper work from day 1 all reciepts etc etc 3 folders full. v5 and all old mots
So which is it then? I think he means he has used it on the road, but can no longer get his shed through an MOT

I wonder if he will part ex for a house?

I know the car from the Opel shows and it's a turd - IMHO naturally. Besides being a trailer queen, it's not supercharged and it doesn't put out 500BHP.

Most of the OMOC (Opel Manta Owners Club) think that it's a joke and would gladly burn it - Manta's never had the best reputation anyway, especially in Germany!

That is seriously not right - it looks like a Capri thats crashed into Halfords then been sprayed by Stevie Wonder.

While that car may/may not be a shed/be worth that money; the opinion of the OMOC towards it would hardly swing my opinion of it - collectively, they're the sort of club that looks down on anyone that doesn't fit OE tyres to their 30-something year old Manta 'A' Series; and would denounce the owner for committing some kind of GM Heresey and demand a public stoning.

At least they were not that many years ago - personality changes in the club may have made them a little less anally retentive. This all from my experience of my two 'A' Series owning brother being a member of the OMOC.

65k! wtf

you reccon his wife has told him to get rid of it, but as a token gesture he's put it on ebay at a totally unrealistic price.

or maybe he's living upto his ebay name (nutty nik) and he's lost the plot (looking at this pup, i think he's already lost it)

There are certain 'elements' in the club that frown on any change, whilst others change things for the sake of it. There are plenty of good guys there who feel that Manta's need to be dragged into the 21st century by fitting V8's, redtop 16 valve engines, throttle bodies, turbo's etc. I even did a 4 x 4 cosworth powered one - until some little t**t nicked it last year.

Anyway, Nutty Nick is just that............... and the car's even worse!
