Default Call to scrap proposed fuel duty rise...

Yes, its another petrol/diesel prices thread. The PistonHead's article makes for compelling reading though.

Not to mention the vast fleets of foreign lorries running on large tanks of foreign fuel taking the business away from UK companies. That will only cost us all more in the future.

have to agree they aint gonna listen, they just want a bit more from the money the oil companies are making

They already have £4billion they didn't expect to have due to the rise in the cost of fuel - I can't see the Government giving up penny of that.

I see Tesco have started their 5p off a litre with £50 worth of groceries.... Dont forget guys to pay upto £50 and then start a seperate transaction


Nice timing... wonder if they had a tip-off of this hitting the papers today

The way that Flash has screwed the economy is beginning to bite now so they need every penny of tax that they can get their hands on to try to save their skins.
