Unless some spoil-sport politicians manage to put a stop to it, Dutch TV plans to transmit Deep Throat on Sat 23rd Feb. The media minister says they are free to do so.

It doesn't bother me in the slightest to be honest and I expect it pales into insignificance compared to what is out there on the 'net. But I can see that this might grate a bit with those who still have 'Victorian values'.

Sometimes I really envy the Dutch and thier progressive laws.

Can you imagine this happending here? Not a chance - Far too many people with mental issues, that make them have this desire to control and censor what other people can watch/listen to/play.
