Yer but French people are different...I've been on the Monte a couple of times and believe me, crowd control/safety is nothing like you'd see in the UK....

Having marshalled at a rally in the UK, I can say with confidence that you get told to **** off by a lot of people standing in daft places when you ask them to move along to a safer area.

Radioing in every occurrence is frowned upon as every stage would then be cancelled....

Hence the 'Motor Sport is Dangerous' sign's

does anyone know where I can find that clip of colin McRae breaking that guys leg on the stage? I remember the interview afterward, he basically didnt give a **** and said he shouldnt have been in the way

Just a bit close, but he is good at hiding the fright he must have had-my cat is like that, looks as though he meant it to happen if he falls off the chair!
