Default LCD TV - No picture

My bedroom LCD TV (old Beko 20") has lost it's picture. Sound is fine

I'm assuming the light source has failed and it is for skipping, anything else it could be?

I had this with a two week old Toshiba (spit) last year.

Turns out it was something called the Inverter if that means anything to the techy types - the light panel was not illuminating so basically there was no picture - I think its basically like a starter in a flourescent tube light.

Time for the TV to have an accident arranged - have your home & contents insurance details handy...ooh, did I just say that out loud?

Stick it on ebay.. I recently sold a faulty 32" plasma for nearly £200.

And yes I did sell it as faulty

It's a 20" 4:3 TV, worth about 20p!
