How do you buy tickets from touts and be sure its real?
I'm after some tickets to see Chris Rock...loads of sites have them for sale but they are obviously not at the original cost - so how can you be 100% sure they are real?
Is there an "official" tout site where i can buy used tickets and be sure of what I'm getting? (cost is not an issue....100% guaranteed genuine is)

You'll be alright from places like ticketmaster and a few others. Also, check the venue, they sometimes sell tickets (at cheaper prices on occasions) or be able to tell you the right websites to go to. I'd avoid ebay.

Dont use other web sites from what Ive learnt in the past. Theyre the sods who rip you off promising you this that and the other.
I know people whine about ebay all the time, you never hear the good side of it all though. Id much rather trust somebody with decent feedback on ebay than any of the many dodgy sites promising front row seats (in the back tier ) etc......

Seems strange Tiggs asking for help instead of slating others for asking for help/advice
There was one mentioned on the Radio yesterday but I cant remember the name, it was an official tout site as they were arguing the toss with a geunine non tout operator
I would try Ticketmaster etc, or just go with the one that looks reputable enough to trust

Why recommend ticketmaster? They sell tickets when they first come on sale. If the gig is sold out then your only choice is turn up and buy from a proper tout or buy online via a tout. Exactly what Tiggs is asking, Im sure he'd be on Ticketmaster if he wanted tickets that are still available legally to the public.

mines a sensible question that many on here may be able to answer - you want to roll up here and ask what filler to have in your sandwich or what your doctor will say when you tell him you have a headache.......i'm still gonna call you a retard

You generally cant unless you have experience of dealing with a website that came through for you, unfortunately for you I cant recommend any as I didnt take the risk although as I said before, my first port of call, that I have used in the past, is ebay
