Where to holiday in Asia?
As I turn 40 next year, along with 3 of my mates, we are thinking of a two week break to celebrate.
One of my mates is in Oz, so we were thinking of somewhere between here and Australia!
Bali has been mentioned, but I don't know too much about the region TBH. Also Thailand and Vietnam seem possibles.
Has anyone got any recommendations? We'd be looking for some sort of villa complex for about 18 people, including about 6 children from aged 5 to 16.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

Koh Phangan for the Full Moon Party? Hoping to pop over in March this year if funds allow Im sure you can accomodate the kids elsewhere

You will struggle in Asia for a villa that sleeps 18 - they just don't sort of offer that sort of thing. Best bets will be hiring 3-4 villas in the same complex/resort.
Thailand/Malaysia/Bali will be more geared up for it, other counties will be less so.

Bali is lovely, an island paradise.
Lovely people, weather is unbelievable, everything is dirt cheap etc etc.
If you do end up going let me know. I'll let you know the do's and don'ts.
