Default Is everyone back at work?

It's eerily quiet in here for a Monday morning, normally this place is heaving during working hours. What's going on

I've even had to resort to looking in General for some active threads

Seconded that it's a struggle. I'd got quite used to getting up at 10am! Getting up at 6:30 was a shock indeed!

Exactly.

Also, I don't think work are appreciating me sitting in my pants, so its looks like i'm going to have to get dressed too . It's like Christmas never happened

My body clock is shot to pieces. I've become very used to going to bed at 2AM and waking up at 11AM 10AM Last night I went to bed at just gone midnight and lay awake until 3AM panicking that I wouldn't be able to get to sleep

It's horrible, not only have I got the body clock thing to contend with I'm also trying to get my body out of the habit of stuffing itself with chocolate, cake and booze. It's sooo hard

Still plenty of chocs hanging around our house. Trying to use it up by having it as "dessert" after tea.... Not overly keen on too much chocolate anyway, it's the nuts and crisps I have to contend with!

I've been giving all the fattening stuff to the other half for his packed lunches just to get it out of my reach

I was back last Wednesday for a nice and quiet few days, leisurely clearing my backlog (Why were people sending me work-related email at 10pm on Christmas eve? ).

Nice leisurely week this week observing people going mental trying to catch up in half a day

Nah.........it's like 'man flu', but if a bloke had it, it would be triple pneumonia It started before Christmas, felt really rough so had a day off work (on the Wednesday), then it really kicked in again on New Year's Eve at work (bleedin' freezing cold air con all day didn't help! ). Now sinus infection and stupid cough! . Been taking antibiotics since Friday, but it's taking it's time going.

Well, you did ask!

If you had ever have man flu you would know just how ill it makes you feel.
I am pretty certain it's been equated to the ebola virus by many scientists. Frankly, its a testament to men that we even make it through alive.

Men are all wimps, I've had man flu over Christmas so can fully appreciate the devastating nature of this terrible illness but still had to cook for and look after six guests, clean, do the laundry, do the shopping etc etc. My other half went to work Christmas Day, was a little bit sick and had to come home and spend the rest of the day in bed

Pete, I'm still struggling with that image of you sitting in your underpants at work

It's a sight to behold, let me tell you.

I keep getting interupted though because I keep getting girls coming up to me all the time asking me if I would like to go to the stationary cupboard with them because I look like I can deliver exactly the kind of hot sauce they have been craving. Probably.

We really don't.

And you know why?

Because as soon as you go to have a little lie down the "wimmin" go mental at you for making such a drama out of man-flu
