Default buying contact lenses online

i know a few of you do this so how does it work? are you able to just order the correct power and curve and they send them to you or do you have to send them a copy of your prescription and still have regular checkups and send them the results?
also what are some good sites to get them from?

I've just started using Visiondirect.co.uk. Didn't need my prescription, just ordered same lenses I've been getting from Costco, price is about the same as Costco but you get 20% cashback through Quidco for Vision Direct.

I have a astigmatism and have started using the Ciba Vision - Focus Dailies Toric and find them brilliant for comfort and vision.

I must have been using the wrong sites then as I've been asked for a valid prescription. I got them from my normal opticians in the end as they didn't need to retest my eyes and therefore worked out cheaper with no eye test.

Nice one, been meaning to buy some more and have a quidco account that I've never used, you just made me 9 quid

They never asked me for a prescription from this site, perhaps the law has now changed.

I joined Quidco in early Dec and did as much of my Christmas shopping using Quidco as well as making sure the prices were best value I could find. I made about £60 from Christmas shopping using Quidco

Interestingly I tried monthly toric lenses previously and found them very uncomfortable - dry sore eyes. The daily torics are relatively new and I usually forget I'm wearing them at all - slept with them in 3 times now always get them out in the morning ok though

on the subject of contacts - what is the strongest vision strength that contacts go up to?

One optician told me -20 but then another recently told me -10??

LensExpress, uw zoekmachine voor de laagste prijs in contactlenzen!

I use these boys and they are as cheap as chips. Fast turnaround & no prescription needed. Probably only local market though, sorry
