I thought the honours list was for UK citizens? how does boomerang qualify???
don't take this the wrong way, but why do luvvies and celebs always seem to get the gongs.....
surely the point of the honours list is to honour people who have done something "special, or above and beyond the call of duty"?
i dont see how being a celeb or pop star warrants a gong
yes there are exceptions, who are thoroughly deserving, but these are few and far between

Kylie lives in the UK permanently now I think - and she is a subject of the Crown so....
The 'Arts' have always had a reasonable showing in the honours list; and lets be honest, its better Kylie getting one than yet another Labour Donor
