The rest of us call it 'age and experience'.

Sadly lacking in most Scoobynet posters these days.

Enjoy your Arctic Monky album...

Robin, in keeping with most of the unwashed here, you constantly confuse what you like with good tatse.

Let's see an example of 'good taste' from the master then. What is it I wonder?

A chocolate fountain from Argos perhaps?

The Who were great. They were a bit of a disappointment when I saw them at Glastonbury though.

YouTube - The Who Glastonbury wont get fooled again

This was excellent, until it turned into a prog-rock nightmare.

Rock music is for middle aged men who still think it is cool to wear a blazer with blue jeans and biker boots

I was a raver back in my day though, so can't really comment

Seen 'em do that, and "Won't get fooled again", live at Birmingham's Mayfair Suite, sadly, long gone.

Oh, give over, that is fookin great and I wasnt around when it was new, I listened to it as a kid in my dads car, then of my own choosing it was and still is epic, the Who, along with Pink Floyd did stuff that broke new ground, I think the Who still sound fresh today and when they play they arent an embarrssing load of old blokes, they still produce the goods.

Thats not to say nobodys done anything of any merit since, The Stone Roses, Aphex twin, The Prodigy, Kasabian, Ian Brown, Gomez etc etc all are superb but dont dismiss the old guard just because they are old, look at the resurgence in interest in Led Zep.

Or go back to listening to X Factor competitors, Busted and McFly.

Please

Don't mention the X factor and music in the same sentence!

I do like some of the "old" stuff, it's some of their die hard fans that make me laugh - including my best mate

We have some "interesting" debates after a few pints in my local

whats happened to "quality music" its just not in the charts so what. get an i pod slap on all the greats like floyd the who the jam, smiths carl *** , sasha, billy preston, foo fighters, sam and dave etc.... stick it on shuffle and enjoy

The trouble with x factor is that they get a record contract no matter what. then they get a christmas number 1 how boring will our christmas number ones be? who ever wins x factor

Make the contestants win for the pride and if your as good as leoni you will get snatched up anyway.
