That's one of the worst generalisations I have seen, and for SN, that's quite something!

Sad, but I do think it was inevitable. There had been several attempts and it was only a matter of time.

Very much. Especially given how exposed she is at rallys etc.
They are just saying that on the news now, asking was she being naive

She was probably fed up with seeing her beloved Pakistan being dragged down the sewer by the current government.

She's a Martyr now - possibly more "dangerous" to the president than she was when she was alive .

BBC news says a blast (bomb) killed her.

Was going to happen eventually if she didnt tighten security after the 1st attempt failed.

Unhappy

Shame, she struck me as the sort of person who wanted to do the right thing for the right reasons.

God knows what will happend now in Pakistan. Chances are a lot more innocent lives will be lost in the name of the people, politics and religion.

No pakistani politician has ever governed the country with the intention to see it right. They only think about lining their own pockets and the perks that come with the job.

We won't need to nuke Pakistan - either they'll do it themselves when they descend into civil war or India will do it when the religious extremists that are the Pakistani ISI get control of the military.

Either way, a **** storm is brewing; and thankfully, the only people the Muslim world can point a finger at is themselves.

Agreed, they have a good ability of self destruction.
As for the only people that can be blamed.....

I give it 48 hours before the news start to report that Pakistan blame the USA and the UK for not doing more, supporting certain radicals, and anything else that we can be at blame for.

Here we go......

Someone on the news now saying this happened because the international community failed to act and offer help after the last attempt.

Partially blaming the PM of Pakistan, and partially the international community for not trying hard enough.... So the snowball gains momentum.

When the International community does act, it gets accused of imperialism and being anti-islamic.

Freaks.

YUP!
Dont make sense does it. Damned if you do, damned if you dont.
I think its the intentions that people intervene with that causes the issues.

Oil rich, we will be there in 24 hours... and so on.

Apparently the USA are about to enter talks with the PM of Pakistan to see what they can take....... oops I mean do.. See what they can do.
