anyone bagged some post xmas bargains...??
me and natalie decide to just have a drive to the town centre, see what was going cheap.
picked her up three dress tops for £6 from peacocks (so easily pleased ) that would have normally cost over £35 (pete lewis top tip ).
then decided to see what was on offer down the electrical shops down lakeside
came home with this in the back of the cinquecento
mate popped round helped me wire it up, jobs a good un. another £700 i cant afford *gulp* but finally a nice tv/dvd/surround sount set up. saved over £250 all together after haggling for "managers offer" on everything
do me and her anywho.

Haven't really noticed any other decent offers to be honest - most of the decent offers were available before Christmas anyway.

Dont take this the wrong way, but if as you say you cant afford it, it was hardly a bargain?
That said, I would prolly do the same if i could get away with it....
Just get it wall mounted

too small to have it wall mounted. because of the layout and small size of out "middle" room, in the corner suits is fine. id end up with neck ache if it was wall mounted, as the only place it could go would be above the fireplace. the room itself is only 5x4 yards i think.

Well its showing as £420 - 5% = £399 then £50 cash back so £349. That will do me. I'm tempted with the 55-200mm lense for another £99 as that will be me done for a camera but don't know how much they are normally and whether to get it all now or get the other lense later.
Always wanted an SLR but always been too expensive for me so this seems too good an opportunity to pass on.

I just got myself a pair of these what ive had my eye on for ages, they should have been £6.99 but they were reduced to £2.99 in the sales and after a bit of haggling i managed to get another 50p off.

I've been looking at lenses but will probably go for one of these as a general lens. NEW!~CANON 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 EF ~IS~USM LENS 28-135 MM on eBay, also, For Digital SLR, Camera Lenses, Photography (end time 27-Dec-07 19:23:10 GMT)
The Image Stability will be worth the extra for me then I'll buy a cheaper 70-300mm or similar for the odd long range tripod shot.
Also getting the 430EX Flash.
Cheers
