Default Worst Driving you seen??

Always good for a read.. I'll start off..

I was coming off the motorway.. two lanes meeting a roundabout.. when some idiot in a escort comes flying past me.. obviously Im in a Scooby so I must be over taken. He boots it onto the roundabout.. although no traffic I stop and wait for him to **** off.. as he turns, his car has other ideas and for some reason spins in the other direction.. I sat there watching as he span 360 .. and then came to a stop facing me.. I looked at my passenger and then back at him ...

It was a moment.. and then with a wheel spin.. like he had planned it he raced off...

Very strange...

Another good one.. I was sitting down the prom having a chat with my brother when Billy Focus goes racing past.. sees me and slams on.. we look up at him as he slams it into reverse and backs into a railing...

On realising what hes done.. again he floors it and races off.. leaving part of his bumper...

Its amazing what people will do to get my attention !

What a stupid post. You really think your scoob attracts attention? I don't even blink when i see a scoob. Obviously people on here still think they have street cred which i find amusing. ten bob millionaire territory.

Audi RS4 on the M1 south near Scratchwood services (or whatever they call it these days). Swung from the 3rd lane right across the motorway onto the hard shoulder to undertake traffic and then back again into lane 3. He must have been doing north of a ton at the time!

Accident looking for somewhere to happen?

A9 south of Inverness (non duelled section), dry, clear and sunny day, on my way home with family in the car after a weekend break. Police car on opposite side of the road overtaking a convoy of cars (no lights or sirens on) I had to do an emergency stop to miss the @rsehole, and when I say miss I think he missed hitting me by less than a meter... Had we collided I have no doubt they'd have found some way in which to lay the blame on me!

Coming off the M9 on a dark wet night, following a Chrysler 300C. At the end of the slip road is a roundabout. I'm going right, so take the right hand lane. The Chrysler driver is going right as well so being a ********, obviously takes the left hand lane

He's so desperate to get round in front of me that he overcooks it and slides into the kerb half way round

I took it easy and watched from behind

Following an old guy in a Escort this morning on a backroad into work. The only time he was on the left hand side of the road was when another car was coming. He was taking blind corners half way to 2 thirds of the way on the other side of the road. I backed right off waiting for him to come to an abrupt stop into an on coming car. He was soo ******* lucky nothing was coming.

Same road last year. Mondeo man was getting sick of being behind a slow moving truck. He decided to overtake it on a blind bend. The Truck driver and the on coming woman in the Golf GTI had to slam on their brakes in order not to hit the fool.

Anywhere in Italy, absolutely crazy.

But the worse would probably be in France, Charles De Gaulle airport, connection flight, travelled by bus to a different terminal and witnessed 2 crashes within the 1 mile journey

A couple of years ago on the a38 dual carrigeway some car miseed it's turn. Car slows down car stops reverse lights come on all the traffic in the 1st lane suddenly have to make a emergency turn into the 2nd lane to avoid the maniac.

With no traffic cops around standards are falling though, speed cameras don't catch bad driving.

I see masses of good, and also masses of really bad driving in and around Malaga. Lot's of it is tourists coming out the airport in their hire cars and getting used to driving on the right but common everyday occurances include having a Seat Leon up your **** in outside lane at 150KPH with it's left indicator flashing, swerves from outside lane to slip roads with no indicating (i.e from lane 2 to slip), no respect for Horses etc in Road (no slowing down, they often get tooted), breaking at last possible minute when racing for a toll slot (can be quite amusing), going left at roundabout but from right hand lane (a Malaga created invention!) and parking anywhere there is space - on crossings, across garages, double parking on main roads...

In total self contradiction, some of the best, or rather most considerate driving I've seen is also in and around Malaga - I've had to cut across 5 lanes of traffic in the City before and you more often or not do get let out plus Road Rage doesn't exist here yet

By far the worst I've experienced personally was the cab ride from Central Park South to JFK. 75mph down the hard shoulder, over kerbs, through the back streets of Queens, through red lights, back over kerbs, down the grass verge back onto the freeway....

The Rammones summed this guy up perfectly with their song "Cabbies on Crack"

I agree with SJ, got back from New York on Monday and the mostly African Taxi drivers are fooking crazy, its like there's no highway code, strangely though, they all seem to know what they are doing.

But sounding the horn all the time, even when the car in front cant go anywhere because of the gridlocked traffic
