you could do it yourself if you're in no hurry. i haven't done that before but i think there are a few people on here who have, so a link should be easy to find
otherwise i would guess that a solicitor is likely to charge more than a butcher, probably £500-700 but depends on the complexity of the title, restricitve covenants etc. speak to a licenced conveyancer - should be cheaper.
