Default What's this? (Google Earth)

30°27'18.91"N
31°59'55.96"E

Just to the SW of the Suez canal. Measured these at .55 miles across, and don't have the foggiest idea what they might be.

Something to do with oil production perhaps?

Ideas?

Yup seen them in Spain whilst on the plane. The irrigation is one of those big spary things stuck in the middle that rotate, so it waters in a circle, so everything green is where crops gets watered.

So, assuming they are crops, is it normal for the rotating sprinkler to be 1/4 mile long?

I've seen ones in the states bigger than that.... i think the water being pumped through them, is what powers them as well as what it waters with......

Cheyenne mountain is on there, so I would imagine what's left of the missile fields can be found if you know where to look, remember most of them are long gone now though
