Whitley bay for the day time then hit Newcastle in the evening is my advice, thats what we did anyway.

no No And NO. After years of being forced out by the rugby lads to the bay after most home games, please drink through the day on Osbourne Rd in Jesmond then go into town. A much more pleasant day out drinking, mind you the place is over run with stag and hen do's.

However, if you do insist on drinking in Whitley, then try starting at the Fire Station (weatherspoons pub), down to Easy Street, Zync, across the road to Pier 39 and maybe hairy lemon then you have deep or blue for the night clubs.

Remember it's only novemeber so no jumpers or jackets. .

No just anyone requiring a jacket in cold conditions of whitley in winter is usually pointed out as being a bit of a bufty.

Seriously, dress code is usually only jeans shirt and either smart dressy trainers or shoes. More lee way on a friday night, saturday night usually have to be a bit smarter so wear shoes not trainers.
