In car freeview qusetions ??
Okay thinking off adding freeview to my in car tv set up ready for the big switch over, I appreciatte that in car tv reception can be very patchy with annalogue sytmn but just wonder if freeview signal is likely to be any better ??
when the big switch over is completed in the uk will tv reception using freeview likely be stronger / beter received than it is just now ??
lastly - digital signal does it come from the same tv transmitter site as the annalogue sytmn just now or what - bit confused by it all ??!!

picture quality can be very good if your not in a built up area, the only thing to think about is everytime you move the car you need to re-tune the kit

No probs at all.
Firstly you'll need your wiring schematic:
Just substitute the outline of the house for one of your Scooby, you'll be fine.
Next, the digi-box:
You can mount it to the dashboard using this:
Finally you'll need an aerial, something poweful mind, as you'll be moving around a fair bit:
Et Voila!

When the turn off analogue they will be able to juice up the digital signal so you get it throught the UK. You will still need a fairly good ariel though.
You would be better with a camos dome sattelite system. I have one in the motorhome which tracks your selected sattelite as you drive

I bought a 12V 10.4inch FREEVIEW DTV last year - connected it up in the Car Park of maplins ...... no picture, nothing .. took it back in and got another.
Connected that up and again, nothing!!
Realised then that the signal wasn't strong enough! Kept it for the Camper where it works fine from a good aerial.
With analogue you can get a poor picture with bad reception ..... and adjust to improve it. With Digital all you get is a Top Quality picture or NO picture! On or OFF if you like
