Note that in the story neither the Passport Office nor the Post Office accept that it's their policy to refuse such photos. So all this is because of one stupid woman behind the counter.

Doubtless this won't stop a thousand people now reiterating the statement that the Passport Office refuse such photos and this country has gone PC mad <sigh>
