What went wrong, Kylie?
I always had a soft spot for Kylie (as opposed to a rather firmer one for her sister) as I thought she was entertaining as a performer and pretty funny as a person.
I saw a couple of snippets of the Kylie Show tonight. What a disappointment, really bad miming and even worse sketches.
She was really trying too hard - and failing.
Shame as some of her live shows were stunning.

I bought Kylie Live In Sydney DVD for my wife some years back but really enjoyed it myself. The multi Channel DTS sound track, live band, live backing singers and live Kylie really sound great with only a small amount of backing used. I still use it as a Demo DVD on my HC setup.
Tonights show was poor, I know she's been through hell and it's great to see she's recovered but I'd rather her not spoil her reputation if she's not really up to high profile live shows.
Cheers

I think that she has made a great comeback after her illness. Her new stuff seems to have a touch of Goldfrapp about it.
The sketches were a little bland IMO, but the Simon Cowell one was funny.
It seemed to me the show was a plug for her new album. But I shall reserve my judgement till next week.
Better The Devil You Know
Anyway great to see her back and looking sooooooo fine

Shame that she felt the need to mime - especially when she's regarded as one of THE best live performers on the planet.
Whoever said, "You know what this show will need? Sketches!" needs to be sacked.
But it's nice to see she's back. The music, well, umm, I'll reserve proper judgment until I hear it. Liking the 80's production, but the songs did seem a little on the weak side (IMHO)
Best of luck to her though

I don't watch her shows. Interesting point is that she has a massive gay following apparently.
Big fans are ya lads?

I have been an admirer of her "talents" for 20 years now Vertically and musically challenged, but incredible none the less...
