Great pitch - great communication and very confident presentation. Completely barmy financials and valuation!

Yep very good pitch, fair play to them stuck to an equity figure and weren't about to get shafted. Not a bad idea but couldnt see it selling by the truckload.

Barmy idea of the night - really demonstrating that rule one of business is don't fall in love with your product

What the f*%@ was this woman on?

For those of you who did not see it - she has invested £200,000 in this idea to date and has sold around 350 units!! £90,000 was on intellectual property lawyers alone. I am surprised they stopped laughing long enough to send out their invoices!

The shower holder woman really needed a cold shower - she was nuts!

I did like the Concentrate inventor chappy . Good, engaging pitch and certainly massive potential, but was a bit surprised that only the ginger-haired dragon saw the potential.

Those bottle holder things will never be used in class as no teacher would allow a kid a drink in a lesson let alone one they had no idea what was in the bottle

Theo actually got his sums completely wrong and forgot to include direct sales. Unfortunately they only realised afterwards!

I love Dragons Den - great entertainment, but I wouldnt go near any of the 'investors' - the deals they offer arent normally worth bothering with unless you are completely desperate.

Makes me laugh when you get someone who is asking for say £100K and reckon within a couple of years they will be making double that in profit - if thats the case, wait a couple of years and you'll have the money yourself without giving away 50% of your business to someone who is only interested in getting a quick return and then bailing out.

In a few cases I can see having the Dragon involved may be useful in getting a product to market, but if something is that good, you can do it yourself in time.

There was an interesting thing in one of the papers a while ago that interviewed a lot of the succesful canditates - only something like 40% ever got any money, the rest either changed their minds, or the Dragons decided not to invest.

Yep, same as the other guy said - my middle two (7 and 4) both take a water bottle in and sip during lessons. Makes perfect sense, i always have a drink on my desk!

A bit more stupid...they play nanny state with the lunch boxes though...no sweets of any type. Means my kids that do hours and hours of exercise and sports cant have a kit kat after their sandwich - a rule enforced by the 17 stone 5ft tall deputy head (who's had her share of kit kats!)
